From the endless fields of delicious strawberries to the cattle that graze on the picturesque plains, Gem County is home to an undeniable abundance of agricultural activity. 农业 has been an economic focus of our fair region for more than 100 years, and we work tirelessly to promote the expansion of agricultural production throughout the region, while simultaneously drawing attention to the high-quality foods our local residents create. Our commitment to farmers in Gem County remains an important tenet of the Gem County Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Foundation’s overall mission and vision.

Residents of Gem County have the opportunity to sample the wares of these fine businesses throughout the year, with a myriad of special events highlighting the delicious produce hailing from around the county.

The Gem County Chamber of Commerce works to encourage agricultural development in our region. Not only does the creation of wineries and vineyards help to spur local economic growth, but it also serves as an attraction for tourism. Tourists can learn more about the wine growing industry, bolster their knowledge of food and wine pairings, and take home a few bottles to share with friends and family.
